Letter To My Battle-Weary Aunt

… who wrote a letter to candidate JFK as an 11-year-old girl (& he read it)

Dear Auntie,

You are correct that “the greatest is love.” It is love of family, country, self, and others that compels me to take a stand. I am sure that, having seen it first-hand, you also feel the conviction to repel corruption. The selfish parties responsible for the assassination of JFK stole our coveted model of government which was "by, for, and of the people." That event marked the day we lost our country to corruption. That event diverted us down a road that led to this fragmented state. This election is our one chance to correct that, change the road we are on, and take back our country. Auntie, you fought the good fight back then, let us continue what you started.

The critical situation at hand: the prospect of an HRC Commander-in-Chief. Are we really supposed to accept corruption? Is THAT the example we set for our kids? Once we go down that road there is no turning back. I could never stand by and watch that happen. Some things ARE black and white. Have we all been desensitized?

If you don’t like Trump, it may be prejudgment, but you have the option to evaluate him after four years. This election however is about our children’s future and the integrity of those in power who ultimately determine whether: a soldier lives or dies, an inner-city young man works or not, an illegal immigrant criminal murders one of us, genocide occurs in the Middle East, we import un-vetted Syrian refugees, we continue to denigrate race relations as Obama has, we give rogue nations the ability to acquire and disseminate nuclear weapons, we grow the job market, and we have the right to say “Merry Christmas.”

Possibly more important, this election has 40 to 50-year long term implications that will change the entire world. Our country currently has one foot in the socialist and globalist pool and we have imminent supreme court vacancies. When the President fills a Supreme Justice lifelong term, it affects our culture, way of life, and identity for the foreseeable future. Some of the effects are black and white and easy to see. The multi-generational pro-life implications alone supersede any questions you may have with competing court issues, or with any issue for that matter. O’Reilly just made the point that if HRC is elected, she is not only Queen but God due to her view that the fetus has no rights and that there are no exceptions even three days before the baby’s delivery date. What kind of inhuman leader would allow that? This may be a strange election cycle, but have we forgotten how to make value decisions? You should side with what matters most in this moment and decide based on what you factually know would happen. A vote for HRC will endanger many babies in the womb for generations to come. This is something YOU KNOW will happen. It absolutely and unequivocally violates God’s prime directive, and everything our faith taught us. I can’t imagine anything clearer than that. There’s no parsing words, and, for Christians, there are no shades of gray here. Some things are black and white; this speaks to core beliefs. You may see other Christians wavering or breaking with their faith, and church officials with an indecisive or wishy-washy attitude. Remember to remain steadfast. This is where we hold the line. Don’t they always tell us we stand alone as Christians? It’s not easy. However, I am not swayed by public opinion and I could never be at peace with a vote for the removal of protection of life. You can’t love and let that happen.

Take it on faith. To be honest I feel very confident about it. if Trump's kids are half of a reflection of him as yours are of you, we will do exceptionally well. Sometimes God calls the most unlikely of us into service.
